Reading Hegel after Marx: Lukács and the Question of Teleology

This paper offers a rethinking of the concept teleology in Marxist theory. In particular, I propose some reflections on György Lukács’s labour, addressed The Young Hegel and subsequently reworked Ontology Social Being. Lukács challenged an idealist notion understood as realisation transcendental principle posited priori. He redefined by showing how Marx reintroduced question purpose essential quality human labour.
